When the entire surface of your body is itchy, reactive … bumpy with dis-ease.
I want to not have to ration the aveeno. I want a sterile spalike sickoom bathing set-up. Where white is the predominate surface color, but my bathwater is soft, soothing, oatmeal-grey. And the light is softened as though filtered through cheesecloth.
I want to smear every nook and cranny of my body, and stay in the water as long as I want to. Because it is medically necessary.
Memories of how bad my chicken pox was, and wondering how much that figures into my invalid fantasies.
